Binerdle is a fascinating spin-off of Nerdle, which itself was spawned from the viral Wordle phenomenon. Where Wordle is entirely about letters, Binerdle offers the challenge of numbers and math operations. Binerdle is distinct because it has a double-math grid, or two calculations in the same puzzle, to increase difficulty without taking away from the enjoyable and challenging aspects of the game.

How To Play Binerdle Game

Upon opening Binerdle for the first time, you will see an empty grid divided into two parts. The layout reflects two secret calculations with no starting hints. There are 7 turns for players to figure out both calculations with mathematical abilities and logical thinking.

Enter your equations with numbers 1–9, the four arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), and a single "=" symbol for each calculation. The game gives feedback in the form of a straightforward color code:

  • Green: The number or operator is in the correct position.
  • Purple: The operator or number is correct but in the wrong position.
  • Gray: The operator or number is not in the solution.

Solve both equations correctly, turning all tiles green, and you win!

Important Notes

To master Binerdle, keep the following rules in mind:

  • Only numbers can come after the "=" sign.
  • Standard order of operations (i.e., 3+2*5 = 13, not 25).
  • Commutative solutions are allowed unless disabled in settings (20+10 = 30 or 10+20 = 30).
  • Leading zeroes are ignored, so 01+2+1 = 4 won't work but 5-3-2 = 0 will.
  • Negative numbers are valid guesses but not preferred solutions.
