Christian Wordle: Christian Word Guessing Game

Beyond art, food, agriculture and other niches, the reach of viral game Wordle has found its way into one surprising corner — religion. Christian Wordle is a new game designed for Christ people that takes Wordle's spartan, elegant gameplay in return for replacing its word list with Christian words. Non-Christians and casual players can play Christian Wordle, though — it's a fun method of learning vocabulary and engaging with themed content inside your browser.

How To Play Christian Wordle

The moment you open Christian Wordle the design is reassuringly familiar: a blank grid, virtual keyboard, and six chances to solve a five-letter keyword. Gameplay is close to the original Wordle experience — same grid dimensions and turn count — but with one twist: the aimed word comes from Proverbs 15, thus answers usually have a biblical tone and Christian theme.

Begin by entering any five-letter word. With each guess, the game uses a helpful color scheme to assist you. Green shows the letter is in and in the right spot; yellow shows the letter is in the word but elsewhere; gray shows the letter is out of the solution. For those who prefer a little additional challenge, Hard Mode requires that when a correct letter shows, it must be used in subsequent guesses.

Tips & Tricks

Boost your chances of winning in Christian Wordle by applying standard Wordle strategies with the theme in mind:

  • Start with vowel-rich words to quickly reveal structure.
  • Fall back on common Christian words if you suspect the theme (e.g., JESUS, GRACE, WISDOM).
  • Re-use green-exposed letters and re-position yellows strategically.
  • In Hard Mode, plan ahead and make an educated guess to leave newly revealed letters consistent with your plan.
  • Watch for virtual keyboard changes in order not to hit redundant dead letters.

Christian Wordle is a lighthearted, browser-based word game with a dash of religious flavor — great for casual gamers and kids looking for themed challenges.
